Eat less, move more. Eat four to six small meals a day with breakfast being the largest and dinner the smallest. Eat the majority of your calories early in the day. Avoid sodas and junk foods.

My grandma always said you should “Eat like a king in the morning, a queen in the afternoon, and a pauper in the evening.”

-Be sure to eat healthy foods with good size proportions.

-Eat fruits, vegetables, grains, and meat (with some fat, because you need fat, not a whole lot but some)

-Exercise regularly (don’t overwork yourself)

-When exercising, allow days of rest to allow your muscles to repair itself.

-Don’t use pills to take shortcuts in losing weight.

-Drink water instead of soda or alcohol.

-Try to find some sort of hobby, sport, or form of recreation to relieve stress.

-Get a good night’s sleep. 9-10 hours for kids and teenagers (bodies still growing and need adequate sleep), 8-9 hours or more for adults.

-Don’t skip breakfast, eat a substantial one.

-Eat 5 to 6 smaller meals a day instead of 3 large ones.

-It’s ok to treat yourself everyonce in a while, just don’t binge on sweets the whole time, however.

-Stay positive and live a good life!

The key thing to remember is to think about the things you are putting into your body. It’s really all common sense..so don’t eat if your not hungry, and once you eat the meal it’s okay to leave the plate full, as long as your satisfied stop eating. Another tip that helped me alot is checking labels and calories, sometimes it’s hard to count calories but writting it down even for just one day you will be able to see how many calories you intake…sometimes we can forget what we ate so writting it down will give you a realistic point on what you put in your body

Also the key to losing weight is buring calories… so in other words moving around more means burning off all those calories…In a recent article it said that people that move around or walk around have less chance of getting heart disease. So you have to just keep on moving…for example if your getting dressed in the morning turn up the radio and move around and dance …or if your watching t.v. lay down on the ground and do some crunches

its all about calories in vs. calories out. First you find your bmr or you metabolic rate on how much calories you burn a day and you can search bmr on a search engine. once you have your bmr you subtract 500 from that and since you are in a deficit you will lose weight. 90% of losing weight is diet while 10% is actual exercising. And you should at least get in 1g of protein per lean body mass which will help preserve muscle when losing weight. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day or more if you exercise.

Your allowed to eat past 6 pm

if your bmr(calories your body burns to keep you alive even if you dont move all day) is 1400

iff you eat 1000 calories all day and at 10:30 your hungry you can eat the remaining 400 and go straight to bed and not gain anything

your body will burn it off

green tea has many antioxidents that are really good for your health it also makes your metabolism faster 4so does:

2 tbsp of vinager when you wake up

drink ice cold water all day
